The Fall 2009 semester has begun and everyone is getting excited about training and racing hard with new, fun people! However, sometimes, I feel like alot of people are intimidated by Race Club and stop coming to workouts and meetings because they think they wouldn't be able to keep up or never even bother coming to anything because they feel like all Race Club members are elite athletes. Maybe it's because I say "everyone is excite about training and racing HARD". I don't mean it. It's true, some members are using Race Club to try to become super athletes but most of us are just here to get a break from school and stress. We are nothing more than a bunch of semi-competitive college kids who want to be involved in something more. We don't want to go insane with studying and classes and just want to have fun with people who share our interest in physical activity. So, I suggest you hang out with us.
